McCain Campaign in meltdown mode

  • by: DavidThi808

Update added at the bottom.

from Broadcasting & Cable McCain just pulled out of a Larry King interview because CNN was “too hard” on Tucker Bounds. If Larry King is too scary, what’s left in the MSM? This is “ran away, run away” mode – big time.

And the bad news keeps on coming. From Politico we have news that ColoradoPols’ favorite news team, the National Enquirer, has sent 3 top members of their Edwards team up to Alaska. Odds are good that they will find a couple more interesting tidbits on Sarah Palin, and maybe the abominal snowman too.

Here is the video, where all Campbell Brown does is insist that Tucker Bounds speak to Sarah Palin’s experience. Wow, what a tough question for poor little Tucker:

Update: And the hits keep on coming faster and faster. First we have from the Washington Post

State records show the business ran into trouble with Alaska’s division of corporations business and professional licensing after Palin became governor of the state in 2006.

A Feb. 11, 2007 letter to the governor’s business partner advises that the car wash had “not filed its biennial report and/or paid its biennial fees,” which were more than a year overdue.

The warning letter was written on state letterhead, which carried Palin’s name at the top, next to the state seal.

On April 3, 2007, the state went further and issued a “certificate of involuntary dissolution” because of the car wash’s failure to file its report and pay state licensing fees.

When the country is looking for competence, they probably want someone capable of running a car wash at a minimum.

And then we have this h/t to Jsn on DailyKOS – I’ll let the picture speak for itself.

  1. It’s been pointed out on dKos that there’s nothing unusual about small businesses just folding without filing formal dissolution papers.  In fact, at this point no-one even knows if the Palins ever got their business off the ground.

The “Us” issue isn’t going to help.

  2. that magazine cover is real. Has it only been 5 freaking days since she was announced? Was this really a surprise, or did McCain only tell the tabloid media about the selection.

It’s really hard to undo stuff like this, but you know who did? Bill Clinton.
